Champlain Obstetrics and Gynecology

Champlain Gynecology is a women's health practice run by three physicians, Dr. Kara A. Flaherty, Dr. John J. Gallagher and Dr. Maria G. Carracino, who together have more than fifty years of combined experience. The practice covers well-woman exams, birth control, menopause care, abnormal bleeding, endometriosis, fibroids and urinary incontinence, along with in-office procedures such as colposcopy, IUD and Nexplanon placement and LEEP. Prenatal and maternity care, daVinci robotic surgery and bioidentical hormone therapy are also listed among its services.

New patients need to call to schedule, and the office asks for demographic details, an insurance card and a credit card at the first visit. Appointments need at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, and a $100 no-show fee applies. The office is in Essex Junction at 55 Main Street, serving patients from Essex Junction to the Burlington region of Chittenden County. Midwifery services ended in August 2024, and current midwifery patients were moved to Blair Park in Williston.
