Theatre

Community Players Theatre is the nonprofit theatre company of Community Lutheran Church in Escondido. It stages full productions, with past shows including The King and I, Oklahoma, Mary Poppins and Godspell, and its current season includes Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap.

Performances are held at the Bailey-Bees Theater on the church's Escondido campus on East Valley Parkway, and tickets are sold online. The company also welcomes volunteers for ticket-taking, set building, stage crew, costumes, props and child wrangling, including people who want to help without acting.
