The Sloppy Duck Saloon

The Sloppy Duck Saloon is a bayfront restaurant and bar on West Bayfront Parkway in Erie, Pennsylvania, serving meals from appetizers to entrees along with drinks. Owners Kim and Dave Litz Jr. have run it since it opened in 2003, handling the cooking, management and entertainment themselves. The setting is a big part of its appeal, with two decks hanging over the water and a main dining room and tiki bar that look out on the bay and Lake Erie sunsets.

Live music is a regular feature, with bands in the tiki bar on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons during the season, and karaoke inside on Friday and Saturday nights. The tiki bar and karaoke are 21 and over. There are no reservations, so seating is first come, first served. The restaurant does not work with GrubHub or other third-party delivery services. Its banquet rooms suit bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and other parties, and the restaurant is seasonal, so check before heading down.
