Schutte Woodworking

Schutte Woodworking is a custom woodshop that builds cabinets, furnishings, moldings and trim from hardwoods, and is known for church furnishings such as altars, lecterns and pulpits. The shop also offers full millwork and can finish lumber for production use, serving lumber distributors, contractors and homeowners.

The shop builds every component in house, and owner Steve Rimpa leads the master craftsmen. Builders can bring in designs for prototypes or material recommendations, and reclaimed lumber can be milled into architectural elements. The shop is at 2831 Zimmerman Rd in Erie, and it has served the area since 1943.
