Countryside Agility

Countryside Agility is a dog agility training center and trial host in Erie, PA, founded in 1994 by Denise Thomas. The facility offers group and private agility lessons, hosts USDAA and AKC trials, provides trial secretary services, and has an indoor heated pool for dogs learning to swim or dock dive. Denise Thomas and instructor Carol Maxwell teach the classes, and the team has trained dogs since the early 1990s.

The building is a 34,000 square foot, climate-controlled indoor space with rubber infill turf, two fenced rings (one regulation-sized for trials), a large crating room and a bistro cafe that is open during trial weekends. Lessons can be booked online, and the business also rents its facility, equipment and pool. It is at 2321 West 38th Street in Erie, and the entrance is under the Countryside Agility sign.
