Associated Clinical Laboratories

Associated Clinical Laboratories, also known as ACL, is a regional reference laboratory that performs diagnostic testing for physicians and patients across Northwest Pennsylvania, Chautauqua County in New York and Ashtabula County in Ohio. The laboratory was formed in 1986 and handles about 95 percent of the testing done at its Erie facility.

Patients can schedule appointments and make payments through the laboratory's website. Its medical directors are Erie pathologists who also serve the local hospital laboratories, and testing that ACL does not perform is sent to Quest Diagnostics facilities in Pittsburgh, Chantilly, Virginia, and San Juan Capistrano, California. The laboratory is at 1526 Peach Street in Erie.
