Town recreation center with pool, gym, fitness classes and climbing wall450 Powers Street, Erie, CO
The Erie Community Center is the town's main recreation building, opened in January 2008 and home to the Town of Erie Parks & Recreation staff. It has a full-court gymnasium with basketball and volleyball nets, an indoor pool with a lazy river and hot tub, racquetball courts, a climbing wall, and several meeting rooms. Fitness classes and individual fitness use are available, and the Columbine Lounge serves adults 60 and older.
Most activities require an Amilia account, and registrations and cancellations are handled on the desktop or mobile version of that account. Many members use the Amilia app on a phone for their schedule and contactless entry. Registration opens in mid-December for winter and spring programs, mid-April for summer, and mid-August for fall. Weekday hours run late, weekend hours close earlier, and printed program guides are available in the lobby.
