The Garden Spa

The Garden Spa is a day spa offering therapeutic massage, facial treatments, waxing and surf lessons. Its massage menu covers Lomilomi, Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, prenatal, craniosacral, reflexology and lymphatic work, while the skincare team offers European facials, hydrafacials, microdermabrasion and chemical peels. The founder, Dora Bocater, has lived on Kauai for more than 15 years, and the treatments aim to bring that island spirit into each visit.

Appointments are needed, and cancellations made without at least 24 hours' notice can be charged a fee, with longer notice required for parties of three or more. Gift cards do not expire and can be used toward treatments. Gratuity can be paid in cash or Venmo. The spa sits in a garden setting in Encinitas, across from Pannikin Coffee & Tea, with limited parking nearby, so arriving a few minutes early helps.
