JJ Doherty Builders

JJ Doherty Builders is a full-service, owner-operated construction company that builds new custom homes and handles whole-home remodels, additions, kitchen and bath renovations, and basement finishing. The crew is known for attention to detail, finish carpentry and high-end finishes, and the company has been working in the Chicagoland area since 1988.

Owner John Doherty oversees projects personally and works with clients from planning through completion, keeping communication clear along the way. The company serves Elmhurst, Lombard, Hinsdale, Oak Brook and surrounding suburbs. A free consultation is the usual first step for homeowners weighing a remodel or a new build.
