Hinsbrook Construction

Hinsbrook Construction is a custom home builder that also handles home additions and full-scale remodeling, including kitchen, bath and basement work. Randy Hoekstra, the president and builder, has been in construction for more than 30 years, starting out in carpentry, and the company builds its homes hands-on with a focus on character and detail.

The firm works across the western suburbs of Chicago from an office in Elmhurst, with projects in places like Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Burr Ridge and Naperville. Projects start with design and blueprints, and the company offers a consultation to talk through a project. Sustainable building is a core focus, with options such as geothermal heating and cooling, cellulose insulation and low-VOC paint.
