York Woods Tree & Products

York Woods Tree & Products is a family-run yard selling landscape supplies, bulk materials and garden center plants, with its roots in tree work. The business makes many of its own products on site, including mulches, compost, loam and aggregates, using green waste it recycles from its own jobs and from other businesses and homeowners. It also offers professional tree clearing, which the family says now focuses on projects such as solar fields, housing developments and roadway safety.

Contractors, homeowners and gardeners can buy in bulk, and firewood is sold by the cord with pickup or delivery available. The garden center is open year-round with a seasonal mix of annuals, perennials, vegetable and herb starts, succulents and houseplants. Customers can also bring in green waste for disposal. The store is on Harold L Dow Highway in Eliot, and the yard hosts seasonal events such as a holiday tree festival in late November. Military discounts are offered.
