Deckert Acoustical Floors

Deckert Acoustical Floors is a specialist in floor underlayment and leveling, installing cement-based and gypsum-based underlayments, self-leveling concrete, and Maxxon sound control mats. Much of its work is for multifamily buildings, condos, apartments, and commercial projects, and it also handles radiant floor heating from the electric system through the underlayment pour.

The company works with architects, engineers, and owners on specifications for new projects in Illinois and can help with resurfacing old or spalled concrete, leveling over hollow core planks, and encapsulating vinyl asbestos tile. Sales and estimating staff are listed on the site, and the office is at 701 Peck Place in Elgin.
