Bunge's Tire & Auto

Bunge's Tire & Auto sells and installs new tires from brands such as Michelin, Goodyear and Bridgestone, and it handles routine and mechanical auto repair in the same shop. Services include oil changes, brake pad replacement and rotor resurfacing, wheel alignments, engine diagnostics and suspension inspections. The technicians are ASE-certified, and the shop aims to explain repairs plainly without pushing extra work.

Appointments can be booked online, and free instant service quotes are available through the shop's website. Drivers from Bartlett, Hampshire, South Elgin, St. Charles and Hoffman Estates regularly come in along with Elgin residents. The shop has served the Fox Valley since 1919, when Herman Bunge opened the original tire business on Grove Avenue, and the current location is on South McLean Boulevard.
