Finishing Touch Custom Woodworks

Finishing Touch Custom Woodworks builds one-of-a-kind custom cabinetry for homes, with kitchens as the core of the business. The shop says it does not keep stock cabinets, so each kitchen starts from a clean slate, and it also builds bars, laundry rooms, vanities, and built-ins for unusual spaces. Work is designed with 3D design technology and an in-house interior designer, and the cabinets are built in the shop to each client's specifications.

More than half of the work is for new construction, though the shop also takes on remodels of existing kitchens. Clients can work through the design stages with the team from concept to completion. The shop is at 6 Lincoln Ave in Eldridge, with a second phone line for its Iowa City area contacts. Weekday hours are posted, and weekends are by appointment only.
