Smith Electrical Contractors

Smith Electrical Contractors is an electrical contracting company serving residential and commercial customers across San Diego County. Its best-known work is main panel upgrades, including 200-amp and 400-amp service and subpanels, along with EV charger installs and electrical work for accessory dwelling units. Smaller jobs such as lighting, ceiling fans, switches, doorbell wiring and landscape lighting are also part of the lineup.

The company handles permits, load calculations and inspections for larger jobs and has worked with solar and utility companies. Dave Smith, a licensed C-10 electrical contractor, founded the business in 2006 as a one-man shop and now runs a team of about 15.
