Kniffing's Landscape + Maintenance

Kniffing's Landscape + Maintenance is a family-owned landscaping company that handles landscape design, installation and ongoing maintenance. Its services run from lawn care, sod and seeding, and irrigation systems to hardscape work like patios, walkways and retaining walls, plus tree and shrub care, pruning and stump removal. The company says it has been in business for more than thirty years and traces its roots to a nursery it opened in 1980.

The company serves San Diego County and describes itself as based in El Cajon, and it offers free estimates to schedule a consultation. Active-duty and veteran military personnel can get a 10 percent discount if they mention it when booking. Its crews are safety certified, and the business says it is licensed, bonded and insured, with a 90-day warranty on planting and irrigation work.
