Tavern on the Hill

Tavern on the Hill is a restaurant and bar known for its scratch bowls, hand-tossed artisan pizzas, burgers and sandwiches, and housemade moonshines. The menu also includes fresh salads, Tavern tacos, craft beers and craft cocktails, plus a brunch menu on weekends.

The restaurant sits across Woodland Avenue from the University of Minnesota Duluth and has several dining areas, including a large bar, a 4 Seasons Room with accordion doors that open to the patio, and a newly updated dining room. The heated patio has overhead heaters and fire pits, and it stays open late into the evening. Tavern on the Hill is part of the Black Woods Group, and it offers gift cards and a rewards program shared with its sister restaurant, Black Woods Grill & Bar.
