The Village Pets

The Village Pets offers dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight pet sitting, boarding, basic grooming and pet transport. Its team includes trained Vet Techs who can give oral medications and insulin or fluid injections, which suits pets that need medication or special attention. Grooming covers baths, nail trims and anal gland expressions.

Clients book through an online portal, and new clients register there first, since services are not scheduled by phone, email or text. Pet sitters can stay in your home, and the pet taxi, fitted with climate-controlled transport kennels, carries pets to vet visits, grooming appointments and other local or interstate destinations. The business is based in Decatur, GA, and keeps relationships with nearby veterinary clinics for emergencies. The phone line is staffed around the clock.
