Belmont Golf Club

Belmont Golf Club is a 9-hole, par 36 public golf course in Downers Grove, known for its history as the site of America's first 18-hole golf course. The original nine holes were designed by Charles Blair Macdonald in 1892, and he added nine more in 1893. The course has mature trees, natural areas, elevation changes and water hazards, and a driving range with 24 hitting stations and a covered shelter with 10 stations.

Tee times can be booked up to seven days in advance, and the course is open weather permitting, so check tee times before heading out. Lessons, leagues, tournaments and golf outings are offered, and gift cards are available. The club is located at 2420 Haddow Avenue in Downers Grove.
