Fortress Storage

Fortress Storage is a locally owned and operated self storage company that started in June 1997. Chip Reid founded it, and today it is run by Chip and his son Dylan. It rents storage units at two West Georgia sites, one in Douglasville and one in Villa Rica. Drive-up units and temperature controlled units are available, though not every feature is offered at every location.

Renting can be done online, with a free lock included at move-in and payments accepted online. The company says its properties are convenient for residents of Hiram, Powder Springs, Mableton, Austell, Temple, Carrollton, Buchanan, and Winston, with access near US-78. The Douglasville facility is on Dallas Highway, and the facilities are well-lit and have security cameras.
