The Billiards Café

The Billiards Café is a pool hall in Ayer with 13 Brunswick mahogany pool tables, a 12-foot snooker table and a 7-foot competition table. The café side serves a full bar with a liquor license, draft and bottled beer, wine, pizza, appetizers and a range of deli and pasta platters that can be ordered for events.

Tables are open to the public, and all ages and families are welcome. Active military get a discount on pool, and parents with children under 16 get half-price pool on weekday afternoons until 7 PM. Private function rooms fit up to 35 people, and the bar and lounge area holds about 150. Event requests are submitted through an online form, and café platters need at least four days' notice. The business is in a remodeled historic building on Main Street in Ayer.
