Motor City Electric

Motor City Electric Co. is an electrical contractor established in Michigan in 1952, with an office in Detroit. Its work runs from high-voltage utility projects to control systems and automation, with specialized divisions serving transportation, automotive, healthcare, schools, public works and renewables. The company is known for design/build work and prefabricated electrical panels built at its own service center.

Most of its customers are businesses, institutions and public agencies rather than homeowners, and it takes on projects across the United States and Canada. The 100,000 square foot service center handles custom fabrication and warehousing and runs around the clock to support clients. Project inquiries and bid documents go to separate business development contacts, and the company also hires for skilled trade roles.
