Tiki Terrace

The Tiki Terrace is a Hawaiian restaurant and tiki bar known for its dinner and show, with live Hula dancers, steel guitar music and tropical drinks. The menu leans on Hawaiian-style plate lunch food such as Kalua Pork, Korean short ribs, garlic butter shrimp, coconut shrimp and loco moco, along with taro chips and hand-rolled egg rolls. Founded in 2005 by three brothers who have Polynesian drum and dance backgrounds, the decor is hand made and includes thatching, outrigger canoes and hand carved tables.

Dinner and show nights run on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, plus special shows through the year, and reservations are made by phone rather than through the online form. The restaurant also does luau catering, a food truck for events, and gift cards. It sits in the Oakes Shopping Center at the northeast corner of Lee Street and Oakton in Des Plaines.
