Thorn serves modern American food with international touches, from breakfast through late-night cocktails. Popular dishes include Avocado Toast, Chicken & Waffles and The Rose Burger with smoked gouda and crème fraîche ketchup, while the kitchen also plays with Smoked Chili Pork Belly Bao Buns and Shawarma Naan Chicken Rolls. Executive Chef Scott Wallett designed the menu, drawing on his background in high-end hotels and independent restaurants.
The restaurant sits inside The Rose Hotel in Rosemont, close to O'Hare International Airport. Guests can book a table and choose between the lounge, with plush seating and TVs, or a more formal dining room. Private dining is available for groups of up to 80, and takeout, delivery and gift cards are offered.
