Schimka Auto Wreckers Inc

Schimka Auto Wreckers Inc is a family-owned towing and wrecker service in Des Plaines that also buys scrap cars. Its emergency towing covers breakdowns and accidents, with drivers who load the vehicle and take it to the company's facility or to any destination the customer chooses. Customers say the crews arrive quickly and handle cars with care.

Calls for towing and for parts and service go to separate lines, so it helps to check which one fits your situation before dialing. Vehicle transportation is available for moves within Des Plaines or farther out. The business is open weekday daytime hours and Saturday mornings, and it is closed on Sundays. Several regular customers say they have relied on the company for many years.
