General Hardwood Flooring Chicago

General Hardwood Flooring Chicago installs, refinishes and repairs hardwood floors, and it also handles staining, custom borders and medallions, and stair and railing work. The company sources wood from a network of U.S. manufacturers and suppliers and offers more than 15 species in a range of widths, finishes and grades. Laminate installation and floor coating are also part of the work.

Estimates are free, and the process starts with a consultation where an estimator inspects the floor before any work is quoted. The owner often works on jobs personally, so a customer deals with one person from start to finish. Dustless sanding is offered for refinishing, and the company describes its approach as eco-friendly. The office is in Des Plaines, and the company serves Chicago and its suburbs, within about 100 miles of the city.
