City of Thornton

Thorncreek Golf Course is a municipal 18-hole golf course run by the City of Thornton, with a practice facility, a golf shop and a patio restaurant, Soderberg's Bar & Grill. The practice range has a wide tee with seven target greens and a large putting green, and it uses artificial turf mats from November through April. Leagues, lessons and clinics are offered, along with the Chris Swinhart Memorial Golf Tournament, which raises money for Thornton youth golf.

Tee times can be booked online up to 14 days ahead, and rates change with demand. Thornton residents with a valid Thornton ID, seniors 62 and over, and juniors receive discounts on weekday rounds. Golf carts require a driver 18 or older with a valid license. The course is at 13555 Washington St in Thornton.
