Ajoya

Ajoya is a cannabis dispensary on West Colfax Avenue in Lakewood, stocking flower, pre-rolls, vaporizers, edibles, concentrates, topicals, tinctures and accessories from independent brands and small producers. The shop does not make its own products, so the shelf reflects what the team chooses to carry, and items are sorted by four experience tags: Elevate, Focus, Unwind and Settle.

Staff are called guides, and they ask a few questions about experience and goals before recommending anything. The Lakewood store has a drive-thru and free parking at the door, and orders can be placed online. Adults 21 and older, including medical patients, are welcome with valid ID. The business is family owned and has a sister store in Louisville, open since 2009.
