Dairy farm with seasonal pumpkins and Christmas treesDelafield, WI

Cozy Nook Farm is a working dairy farm near Waukesha, Wisconsin, with about 65 cows, mostly registered Brown Swiss and Guernseys. Its milk goes to Prairie Farms, where it is made into cheese. The farm is best known for its seasonal sales: a fall market from late September with more than 40 varieties of pumpkins, gourds, squash, Indian corn, and mums, and Christmas trees, wreaths, and garland from the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Educational farm tours run from spring through fall by appointment. The hour-long tour follows the life cycle of the cows, and children can feed hay to the heifers and pet the baby calves. The farm is operated by the Oberhaus family, Tom and Joan with their son Charlie, and is on Highway 18 about four miles west of Waukesha, just east of Highway 83. Follow the written directions rather than GPS, since the farm says GPS can be unreliable there.
