Ted Gilbert and Wayne Schaab, the principals, have advised clients for decades, and the firm runs its own stock research process, looking for companies with strong health and performance metrics before buying for a client.

Clients meet one-on-one with their advisor, and the firm offers financial planning that is reviewed on a regular schedule rather than set up once. The firm has offices in Portland, Maine, and in Boston and Westborough, Massachusetts, and it encourages clients to keep their accountant, attorney and insurance broker as separate professionals. Fees are described in its Form ADV and may be negotiable.
