Wise Choice Custom Meats

Wise Choice Custom Meats is a family-owned meat counter in Decatur that sells beef, pork, chicken and sausages, along with finger foods, frozen items, seasonings and rubs. The beef is a mix of locally raised cattle from a ranch near Chico and local ranchers in the Decatur and Sunset area, grass-fed animals, and Angus cattle from Nebraska that are corn-fed. The shop also carries Akaushi beef, a Japanese breed, and says its beef has no hormones or dyes.

The store offers only Wise County and US-origin beef, chicken and pork, and customers can place orders online or by phone. It is located on US-287 in Decatur, and a deli section is listed as coming soon.
