Pop's Place

Pop's Place is a food and spirits bar on West Main Street in Decatur, known for live music and American classics like burgers and wings. Rick and Kathy Scott opened it in 2008, and it is now run by mother-daughter owners Michelle Perry and Kirsten Hinton. Live entertainment runs on weekends, with rock on Saturdays and blues bands on Sundays.

Daily food and drink specials run through the week, and the room has pool tables, darts, and gaming machines including a claw machine. Regulars can phone in a carryout order to pick up. The kitchen closes earlier than the bar, so the kitchen closes at 8 PM on weeknights and Saturdays, and 6 PM on Sundays.
