Votran

Votran is Volusia County's public transit system, running fixed-route buses across most of the county's urban and rural areas along with paratransit service for riders who need door-to-door trips. The county council created the system in 1975, and a county division oversees it while a contractor handles daily operations. The fleet includes 69 fixed-route buses and 56 paratransit vehicles.

Service runs seven days a week, though not every route operates daily, generally from early morning to evening, with limited late service until midnight Monday through Saturday in the Greater Daytona Beach area. Votran also runs Flex service in New Smyrna Beach and the VoRide on-demand rideshare zone in DeLand. The main office and mobility management center are on Big Tree Road in South Daytona, and the fixed-route buses are wheelchair accessible with lifts or ramps.
