Veterinary Alternatives

Veterinary Alternatives is an integrative veterinary practice for small animals, offering acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, physical rehabilitation and underwater treadmill therapy. It is a small practice that serves senior pets and sporting and working dogs, and it treats post-op recovery, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal and neurological injuries, and some cancer and internal medicine conditions.

The practice has one doctor, a treadmill specialist and two assistants, and it works in a small building in Centerville, focusing on individual needs. Appointments are needed, and new clients can fill out a pre-visit questionnaire or a referral form before coming in. Dr. Julie, a certified veterinary acupuncturist and canine rehabilitation practitioner, has been with the practice since 2011.
