South Community

South Community Behavioral Health provides mental health and substance use care for children, adults and families in the greater Miami Valley. Its youth care includes community psychiatric support, school programs, a day treatment program and equine assisted therapy. Adult care covers community intervention, integrated dual disorder treatment and services for severe and persistent mental illness. The agency also runs a food pantry and an employee assistance program for workplaces.

South Community is a not-for-profit that works with schools, health care providers, courts and law enforcement. Its main office is in Moraine, with walk-in hours on weekdays, and it also has offices in Dayton and Kettering. Phone calls are handled during weekday business hours, and anyone in a crisis should call 911. Companies can also book corporate equine retreats.
