The story

Magnum Tool Corp is a tool-making and machining shop that combines traditional toolmaking methods with modern CNC machining. The company was founded in 1974 by brothers Larry and Jim Grooms, and it bought its first CNC machine in 1984.

The business has been run by the Grooms family since 1997, when Larry's sons Greg and Chris bought it. It has operated from its current building at 1407 Stanley Avenue in Dayton since 2005. Customers are welcome to visit during weekday business hours, and the shop is closed on weekends.
