Grain Designs

Grain Designs is a custom furniture and design studio founded in 2013 by two North Dakota State architecture graduates. The studio builds solid hardwood office desks, conference and reception tables, live edge dining tables, and custom business and wall signs, along with architectural pieces such as sliding doors, wood paneling, and countertops.

Projects start with a free design consult, followed by a custom quote, design drawings, and finish options. Pieces are built in as little as six weeks, and the studio says its custom office pricing is the same or less than commercial competitors. The workshop sits on a 19-acre farmstead in Davenport, where the property also hosts two wedding venues.
