Scott County Kennel Club

Scott County Kennel Club is an all-breed club serving the Quad Cities since 1943, with classes that range from performance sports like agility, obedience and rally to instinct work such as herding and nose work. The club also offers conformation presentation, puppy classes and pet socialization, and it hosts competitive and fun dog events in the area, including a scent work trial planned for late November 2026.

Classes are offered for all skill levels, so newcomers and experienced handlers can both find a fit. Club meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the clubhouse, a climate-controlled building on West River Drive in Davenport, about 14 blocks west of the Centennial Bridge. New membership is currently closed, though people who have completed two classes can apply with two sponsors and join a waiting list.
