Music In Motion Piano and Music Lessions

Music In Motion School is a piano and music studio that teaches students from age 4 to 74, from absolute beginners through advanced pianists preparing for auditions and competitions. Lessons focus on technique, sight reading, music theory and interpretation, and the studio also offers voice lessons. Founder Sharon Yost holds a BA in Music and has performed in chamber orchestra and as an organist.

Lessons are scheduled by phone, and there is no long-term agreement required. The studio holds student recitals every year. Students come to the studio in Danville and the school says it serves families in Alamo, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore and Walnut Creek.
