Smooth Solar

Smooth Solar is a solar sales and marketing company that helps homeowners switch to solar power. It works with local installers and focuses on explaining how solar energy works, what the panels do, and how a system could lower a monthly power bill. Customers can buy a system outright, finance it through third-party lenders, or lease it, and the company says some customers have cut their summer air conditioning bills in half.

The process begins with a free in-home appointment, and installation is scheduled once the homeowner agrees to move forward. Panels come with a 25-year production guarantee, and existing customers can earn up to $1000 for referring friends or family. Service is available in most U.S. states, and payment for excess electricity depends on whether the local utility offers net metering.
