New EPI

New EPI is a hospitality design and purchasing firm that works with hotel franchises on furnishing and finishing guest rooms and public spaces. Services include FF&E specification, space planning, conceptual design, CAD and 3D drawings, budgeting, value engineering and cost analysis, with project accounting and product tracking and scheduling through the build-out. The company was founded in Dallas in 1999 by Mike Cohen.

The firm works mainly with franchise requirements for project submissions, which it says have grown considerably in recent years. Its showroom near the Galleria at Midway and LBJ in the North Dallas Design District displays current guest room vignettes from major franchises, along with carpet, tile, LVT and SPC flooring, casegoods, upholstery, lighting, textiles and accessories.
