Wesco Cedar

Wesco Cedar is a brokerage for cedar shakes and shingles, representing both U.S. and Canadian producers. Its product line includes fire retardant treated cedar shakes and shingles, preservative treated cedar, untreated cedar, and fire retardant treated lumber and plywood. The company says it is the oldest and largest cedar shake and shingle brokerage in the world.

Wesco Cedar offers custom selections and special order treating, and it says its fire retardant treated shakes and shingles are legal and safe in California. Buyers can reach the office by toll-free phone or by mail at its Creswell office, with a separate sales branch for fire retardant lumber and plywood in Ferndale, Washington.
