Council Bluffs Country Club is a private, member-owned club with an 18-hole championship golf course, a pool, and a clubhouse dining room. The club traces its roots to the Council Bluffs Rowing Association, which operated it from 1887 until 1928, and it has been owned by a group of members since 2005.
Non-members can take part in events such as Sunday brunches and banquets, with reservations recommended. The club runs a pro shop, golf events, swim lessons and team programs, and a membership gives access to all club amenities. The course is at 4500 Piute St in Council Bluffs.
