The Bone Adventure

The Bone Adventure is a dog daycare, boarding, grooming and swimming business with two Costa Mesa locations, opened in 2003. Bone Home is geared toward older dogs, puppies and dogs that need extra help building socialization skills, with a calmer, home-like setting that suits longer boarding stays. Bone Backyard is more active and suits very socialized dogs, swimmers and dogs that need more running.

New daycare and boarding clients must complete a temperament test before booking, and new grooming clients must have required vaccines, so calling ahead is the way to start. Both locations have indoor and outdoor areas with K9 grass, water features and sleeping arrangements, and staff rotate between sites so a familiar face is usually there. Bone Home is at 1629 Superior Avenue and Bone Backyard is at 2700 Bristol Street.
