Kahler Collision Center

Kahler Collision Center is an auto body shop in Coralville that handles collision repair, including insurance claims and damage from accidents. The shop has been in the collision repair business for more than 30 years and uses Chromax Waterborn paints, which the shop says produce fewer solvents and emissions. Its clients include a number of insurance companies that list it as a preferred shop, as well as the University of Iowa fleet.

Customers can make an appointment or drop in at the James Street location. The shop can arrange a ride or towing if a car cannot be driven, and it works directly with any insurance company, making the calls and handling the paperwork. Family owners Mick and Tammy greet customers and guide them through the process. The technicians are I-CAR trained.
