Five Star Home Improvement

Five Star Home Improvement is a family-owned roofing and exterior company that handles residential and commercial roofing, along with replacement windows, siding, gutters and insulation. The owner is a third-generation roofer, and the family has worked in the Iowa and Illinois area for nearly 100 years. The company installs Owens Corning, GAF, CertainTeed and Mule-Hide roofing products, and says it stands behind its work with warranties that go beyond the industry standard.

Most roofing jobs can be finished in a single day, and the company offers free inspections and estimates. Financing is available, including zero-down plans through Regions. Service covers Johnson County, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, the Quad Cities and surrounding towns, with an office in Coralville on James Street. The office phone line is open daily, and the company lists hours from 8 AM to 8 PM on its site.
