Trinity River Kayak Co.

Trinity River Kayak Co. rents out the Elm Fork Pavilion and Event Center, a private event space on a two-acre property along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. The pavilion pairs about 1,250 square feet of covered outdoor space with a 625-square-foot heated and cooled meeting room, and it works for parties, gatherings and conferences of up to 110 people. Kayaking is offered as an optional add-on, weather permitting.

Rentals start at $750 for a three-hour minimum, which includes an hour of setup before the event, with extra hours at $200 each and a $200 security deposit. Events must wrap up by 10 p.m. The space has a commercial gas grill and griddle, a smoker and an ice machine for rent, plus lighted basketball and pickleball court, horseshoes, cornhole, disc golf and other games. Caterers are welcome, food trucks and alcohol are allowed, and parking is available for about 70 cars. Bookings go through Jeff by phone or email.
