The Hole in the Wall Catering & Events

The Hole in the Wall Catering & Events is a historic event venue and caterer that also runs a cafeteria-style Southern restaurant in the Old Gin, a former cotton gin. The kitchen makes its food from scratch, and the menu is known for skillet fried cornbread, chicken fried chicken with white milk gravy, boneless hand-trimmed fried chicken on Fridays, and daily desserts made each morning.

The lunch service runs Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Old Gin's main dining hall, and phone orders can be ready when you arrive. For events, the main hall and bar room hold up to 250 guests and the East hall holds up to 100, suited to receptions, weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, banquets and civic club meetings.
