Strouss Construction

Strouss Construction is a family-run builder that has been building homes in Jackson County since 1949. The company is now in its fourth generation of the Strouss family, led by Dan Strouss, and it does custom homes, barndominiums, additions and remodeling, garages, pole barns, and commercial buildings. Much of its work comes from referrals from neighbors.

The owners say the family and crew do the work themselves rather than handing jobs to a rotating group of subcontractors, and the company handles a project from start to finish. Crews work across Jackson, Hillsdale and Calhoun counties, and the office in Concord, Michigan takes calls Monday through Friday during business hours. Free consultations are offered for new projects.
