Side Gate Brewery & Beer Garden

Side Gate Brewery & Beer Garden brews its beer on site and serves it in a taproom and a spacious outdoor beer garden. The founders, Kevin Wilson and Paul Culbertson, are Bay Area natives who started the brewery after meeting as coworkers and bonding over homebrewing. The brewery was voted Best Brewery & Taproom in the East Bay by Diablo Magazine for the past two years, and it also won a 2026 Best Trivia Night title in the East Bay.

The brewery sits right around the corner from Todos Santos Plaza in Concord, at 1822 Grant Street. Kids and pets are welcome, and the taproom offers gift cards and private event bookings. Joining its free Neighborhood loyalty program brings discounts and rewards.
